One of 3dB Studio’s core values is family so back on April 2nd, Morey and Julie represented the studio at the KBPI Cruise for Cancer. KBPI, aside from being one of the best and well-known rock stations in Denver, also really believes in the idea of family and sticking together in hard times. This cruise benefited KBPI member,Chris Morgan, who was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer. The cruise was held before KBPI’s annual car show held at Lincoln Technical College.
We met at I-25 and Belleview and approximately 100 cars and motorcycles drove to the college together. Many cars in the caravan were hot rods that participated in the car show. We truly enjoyed meeting Chris, donating to help him and giving him our support. We had a blast looking at all the cars and chatting with the owners. Willie B’s Garage Show broadcasted live from the car show. They were also giving away qualifier keys to their Motorshop 12 project contest, a re-built Yamaha YXZ 1000R side-by-side off-road vehicle. Julie had a rare lucky moment and won a key (man, she’s lucky!) She now has a 1 in 106 chance of winning the toy. We’ll see how it goes on April 23rd. Check back soon for construction news. We’ll be posting the “before pics” and pics of the first project.
To help Chris Morgan out, check out Go Fund Me and give him a few dollars. We appreciate your generosity! https://www.gofundme.com/chrismorganmoto/donate
